Use the qualified Growthub Desktop phone build on an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 15 or later, your own unlocked iPhone and a reliable data cable for initial trust. The Mac must stay online while it provides phone access. This setup does not install an iPhone App Store app.
Trust the Mac and choose your phone
- Open Profile Settings → Connected phones on the Mac you want to use.
- Connect and unlock your iPhone. If Apple asks, approve Trust This Computer on the phone using its own passcode screen.
- Choose Check connection. A charging cable alone does not prove that the Mac can use the phone.
- Select your verified iPhone and choose Use this iPhone. To change phones or Macs, disconnect the existing assignment first.
Enable the view and pointer
- Follow the setup controls to allow Camera and Bluetooth when macOS asks. Camera access enables the supported phone-screen capture path; it does not grant access to every app.
- On your iPhone, open Settings → Accessibility → Touch → AssistiveTouch. Enable AssistiveTouch, then open Devices → Bluetooth Devices and pair with Growthub iPhone. A previously paired device may retain its earlier Bluetooth name.
- Choose the intended phone screen in Growthub, check the preview, and confirm that the pointer is moving on that same iPhone.
- Confirm the association only after checking both the screen and pointer.
Ask for useful work
Continue in an ordinary conversation with Codex or Claude and your saved Character. Select the relevant Project, Page, Brand Kit and connected tools as usual. A browser or mobile conversation can use phone access through its available assigned Mac; those surfaces do not control the phone independently.
Ask for a clear outcome, such as drafting a reply in an existing app conversation, checking the visible draft, and revising it before you approve sending. Your CEO can coordinate phone work through its existing Character delegation.
One conversation operates the assigned phone at a time. Other conversations can continue using their independent tools. A phone action does not authorize publishing, purchasing or sharing data outside your request.
Use my selected Character and client context to prepare a draft in my iPhone app. Check the visible draft and let me review it before sending. Keep the result and revisions in this conversation.
Stop access or disconnect
Use Stop in Connected phones to end the phone connection. Leaving Settings open or closed is different from stopping access. To remove the saved assignment, choose Disconnect.
Keep device passcodes and biometric checks on your iPhone. Do not paste passwords or verification codes into ordinary chat. The phone connection does not make the separate browser private-input form available inside every iPhone app.
Changing access does not undo an action already sent to an app. Check the destination before repeating an uncertain send or post.
If setup needs attention
- If the phone is missing, unlock it and check the data cable and Trust prompt before checking the connection again.
- If pairing fails, check AssistiveTouch → Devices and the Mac’s Bluetooth permission. A Mac with faulty Bluetooth cannot supply a reliable pointer; use a compatible working Mac instead.
- If the preview or pointer belongs to a different device, stop and select the correct phone before confirming.
- If another conversation is using the phone, finish or release that phone work before taking over. Do not restart unrelated provider sessions.
- If your plan or assignment changed, return to Connected phones and review the current saved setup. A listed phone is not proof of a live connection.
