A connected service, a selected tool and permission to perform a particular action are different things. Some services provide reads while others also support creating or updating records.
Check before the first action
- Confirm the service name and signed-in account.
- Open its settings to review per-tool permissions.
- Ask for a bounded read to confirm the correct workspace, location or folder.
- For a write, name the exact item, destination and desired state, such as draft or scheduled.
- Open the saved result or ask for a readback before treating the action as finished.
Mention tools in a request
Use the existing @ Plugins list to refer to a connected tool in the composer. A mention helps direct the request; it does not grant new permissions. Slack tool selections are also optional preferences.
