- If an edit conflicted, read the latest saved revision before attempting the change again.
If the link is missing
Ask the Character to read the existing destination and identify what actually saved. Keep the artifact ID or saved reference it returned. A missing canonical link can leave the delivery incomplete even when some content was saved.
If access was removed
A revoked collaborator or changed source permission may intentionally make an item unavailable. Ask the owner for the appropriate access. A Slack identity connection or channel membership does not restore private resource permission.
