Read before updating
- Find the intended table and record.
- Read its current content and access settings.
- Ask for a bounded update that preserves earlier notes unless you explicitly want them replaced.
- Reopen the saved entry and confirm the change.
- Check the recorded history when you need to understand what changed.
Understand sharing
Viewing one record does not automatically give edit access to its table. Use the existing table and record sharing controls for the intended collaborator. Slack identity linking does not grant private Knowledge access.
Example request · adapt to your work
Find our existing internal guide for this process. Preserve its current notes and add the reviewed decision below with its source. Reopen the same entry and return the saved reference and any remaining uncertainty.
