## Attach useful context

Upload an image or file in Slack, or link a permitted Drive folder or document. Explain how the Character should use it. Examples include a composition to study, notes to preserve or a source document to verify.

## Ask for the intended use

Example request:

Read the attached notes and inspect the reference image before drafting. Use the image for composition only, keep our approved product facts from the Brand Kit, and save a draft with source links in the selected folder.

## Check file and account access

A local path on your computer is different from a Slack upload or connected Drive folder. Use the supported attachment or connected source for the selected execution setup. If a file cannot be opened, keep the original reference and check access before asking for a replacement upload.

Good to know: Review the audience before sharing client or personal files in a channel. A Character’s ability to read a source still follows its connected account and permissions.
