# Find Characters, tools and Routines in Slack

Use the available menu and message controls to start or continue the right work.

## Open the Growthub menu

Use /growthub where your Slack role and workspace allow custom commands. The menu can help you choose a Character, optional tools or context, and Routines. A message shortcut can open the supported Growthub action for that message.

Opening discovery does not start an agent turn. Review your choice and submit the request when ready.


## Choose what the request needs

Select the assigned specialist or CEO. Optional tool choices help describe the request; they are not new access permissions or mandatory tool requirements. Use the saved source and destination appropriate to the channel.


## If commands are unavailable

Some Slack guest roles or workspace policies restrict custom slash commands. Use the supported mention or shared conversation controls available to you. Ask your workspace administrator about app installation or command availability rather than changing your provider account.
