# Configure browser and Computer use

Use the connection and website permissions shown for your current device and provider setup.

## Choose the appropriate setting

Cloud browser contains the available connected browser setup and website permissions. On Desktop, Computer use contains supported local app choices and related controls. Check the panel for your current device rather than assuming all surfaces have the same access.


## Connect through the normal flow

1. Open the relevant panel in Profile Settings.
2. Follow its connection instructions for the intended browser or supported app.
3. Review the website or app permissions shown before enabling access.
4. Return to the existing conversation and name the specific work you want done.

## Verify the result

Inspect the actual page or app effect and any saved record. Keep a permission decision separate from successful task execution. If connection recovery is needed, use the current product instructions and preserve existing tabs and active work.
