# Use Growthub on Desktop and the web

Understand where your work runs and when a connected device is needed.

## Install and sign in

1. Use the official Download page to choose the installer for your computer.
2. Open Growthub and sign in to the account you use for your business work.
3. Connect your provider accounts through AI Providers.
4. Check Devices to identify this installation and its connection state.

## Use the right surface

The browser gives you access to Growthub’s shared work and configuration. Desktop also provides supported access to local apps, files and browser actions, subject to the selected device and permissions.

For recurring work that relies on a Desktop device, make sure that device remains available for the reviewed setup. Closing a document pane is different from stopping an agent’s access.


## Keep work connected

Continue in the existing conversation when you want to keep its work together. Changing a device, account or model is a configuration choice; it is not a general troubleshooting shortcut.


Good to know: Install updates through the existing Desktop update experience or official download. Preserve your signed-in account and device setup.
