# Attach the sources behind your work

## Choose the relevant references

Add source links to the working Page or the conversation. Where available, use the connected account’s library to select the file, Page or Artifact you need. The original source stays a separate resource.

Give the Character a reason to use each source: approved offer details, research to verify, a layout to follow or a document whose wording must stay intact.


## Check source access

1. Confirm the correct provider or connected-service account.
2. Open the selected source and check that it is the intended item.
3. Ensure the person or account doing the work can read it.
4. Ask for source-linked work and identify any sections that must not change.

## If a library is unavailable

Check the selected account and any connection message before replacing the reference. A visible link does not guarantee access for another account. Keep the exact saved source so you can continue once the connection is available.


Good to know: Source references do not copy sharing permissions or merge private client context.
